  REGISTRATION PROCEDURES FOR STI ALUMNI
 
 

WHO ARE QUALIFIED?

STI graduates who have completed all the academic requirements of any of the following programs:

•  One-year programs

•  Two-year Associate and Certificate programs

•  Four-year programs


COLLECTION PROCEDURES

•  Graduating students shall pay an alumni fee of Php 250 whether they will join the graduation march or not. Students must be informed that the alumni fee is part of the graduation package and must likewise be communicated to their parents.

•  Based on the memo dated September 28, 2004 re Alumni Remittance , the whole amount of Php 250.00 alumni fee per graduating students must be remitted to STI Alumni Association, Inc. Thus, the amount of Php 37.50 or 15% of the alumni fee per graduate that should go to the local alumni association fund will be rebated once the school's local alumni association has been recognized by the STI Alumni Association, Inc.

•  Consistent with the memo released last February 24, 2003 by the Student Services Group on the May 2003 Network Graduation, the Alumni Relations Office shall bill the school based on the total number of graduates.


REMITTANCE OF ALUMNI FEES

The alumni fees go to the account of the STI ALUMNI ASSOCIATION, INC. and not STI Headquarters.

Schools may deposit their payment at any Metrobank branch using the regular deposit slip (blue) and NOT the payment slip for companies with collection arrangements (green) at this account number:

Account No. : 312-3-312-50152-0

Branch : Aguirre-Salcedo, Makati City

All fees should have been remitted to the STI ALUMNI ASSOCIATION not later than one (1) month after the graduation date to ensure the prompt release of benefits due to the alumni.


RENEWAL OF MEMBERSHIP

There are three ways on how to renew your STIAA membership:

A. Through Any STI School

  1. You may go to any STI school to renew your membership. All you need to do is pay your alumni fee and fill out the alumni information sheet. You may ask for the alumni information sheet from the Guidance Counselor, Placement Officer or Alumni and Placement Officer.
  2. The STI school where you renewed your membership will then forward your payment and alumni information sheet to STIAA Headquarters.
  3. STIAA Headquarters will process your benefits and send you an alumni membership package not later than one month upon receipt of payment and information from your school.

B. Through the Bank

  1. You may also opt to renew your membership by depositing your alumni fee to Metrobank Savings Account No. 312-3-31250152-0
  2. Remember that it is a must to send STIAA Headquarters a copy of your deposit slip through fax (02) 789-3013, email (alumni@stihq.net) or have it delivered to the 6th Floor STI Academic Center, University Parkway Drive, Fort Bonifacio, Global City, Taguig.
  3. Download a copy of the Alumni Information Sheet at www.alumni.sti.edu.  Fill it out and email the Alumni Information Sheet back to alumni@stihq.net. You may also send it with your deposit slip through fax (02)789-3013 or have it delivered to the 6th Floor STI Academic Center, University Parkway Drive, Fort Bonifacio, Global City, Taguig.
  4. STIAA Headquarters will process your benefits and send you an alumni membership package not later than one month upon receipt of payment and information from you.

C. Through STIAA Headquarters

  1. You may visit us at the 6th Floor STI Academic Center, University Parkway Drive, Fort Bonifacio, Global City, Taguig to renew your membership.
  2. Do remember to fill out the alumni information sheet.
